Desk Report:
For personal or professional needs, many iPhone users manage multiple WhatsApp accounts on different phones. This often leads to missing important updates in real-time. To address this issue, WhatsApp is introducing the ability to use multiple accounts on the same iPhone.
According to WABetaInfo, a platform that tracks WhatsApp features, iPhone users can now add multiple phone numbers under the new multi-account feature. Previously available for Android, this feature allows iPhone users to seamlessly integrate multiple WhatsApp accounts on a single device. Currently, WhatsApp already supports using the same account on multiple iPhones or Mac computers.
WABetaInfo further revealed that WhatsApp has begun testing the multi-account feature in the iOS 25.2.10.70 beta version. The feature will particularly benefit users with eSIMs, enabling both personal and professional numbers to operate on the same iPhone. During the initial rollout, users may need to manually restart the app to add new accounts.
At present, many users rely on the WhatsApp Business app to manage their secondary phone numbers. However, this new feature will eliminate the need for alternative solutions, offering a more streamlined experience for general users.
With this update, WhatsApp is set to enhance user convenience, making it easier than ever to manage multiple accounts on a single device. Keep an eye out for the official release!
